Praying To Face The World Well With God

Facing The World With God

I’ve spoken these words to my own heart and mind and found peace and stability as I embraced them.

God is always with me.  I need never face my problems alone.  Together with God, any difficulty can be worked out and overcome.

There are so many wonderful truths in God’s Word that are the basis of those short statements.  Listen to these amazing promises God gives us.

Jesus said, “Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.

John 14:27

Every test that you have experienced is the kind that normally comes to people. But God keeps his promise, and he will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test, he will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out.

1 Corinthians 10:13

I have the strength to face all conditions by the power that Christ gives me.  Philippians 4:13

God promises:  Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.  So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper;  I will not be afraid.  What can anyone do to me?”  Hebrews 13:5-6

Cast all your anxiety on God because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

And we know that in all things God works for good with those who love him, those whom he has called according to his purpose.  Romans 8:28

Confusion and worry are easy to find in our heads and hearts, God but  we release them to You. You have the wisdom and power to run the universe so you surely are wise enough to give us helpful solutions for our problems.  We choose to let you create peace in the middle of our worries as You show us how much You care for us.

We trust you to meet our needs today and to show us how to co-operate with Your plans. We choose to live life on Your terms today, not our own.  We believe that You will make good out of everything, even our mistakes.  We’ve often been afraid of all sorts of things about ourselves and life, but today we surrender our hearts and minds to you, Jesus, so You can grow peace in us and show us how to live without fear.  Amen
