What do we need today – a question on many people’s minds.  I get it.

Here’s what encourages me.  God promises that we can receive from Him today, everything we need for life that we experience as good and satisfying no matter what the particular challenge we face looks like or feels like. 

Look at these simple words, full of promise.  Listen to them.  Think about what they might look like in your life.

By His divine power God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life.  We have received all this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself, by means of His marvelous glory and excellence.

So, all the power we need, all the wisdom is given to us by God.

So what if we simply open our hearts and say, “I receive all you are giving God.  I want you.  I need you.  I need this divine power to live a godly life.
