Each day is new – filled with unknowns and challenges but also filled with possibilities and the comfort and encouragement we need from knowing that God is with us and goes before us into this day.
God sees things we don’t. God prepares things that we don’t even know need to be prepared and God promises to take us safely through this day. That’s the confidence we can hold as we face today.
The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
Deuteronomy 31:8
Heavenly Father, You arrived at today before we got here and prepared everything we will need. You satisfy the deepest needs in our lives today with your words of truth and blessing. Open our ears to hear what You are saying so we can experience the wonderful day you promise and not just survive but thrive.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
Ephesians 1:3
We're in this together with You and with one another. Help us to trust Your generous heart to provide for all that we need today. Help us to look beyond ourselves and to take every opportunity today to bless others.
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Luke 6:38
Help us to live in gratitude for all that we have and not be caught up in the fear of what we may not have tomorrow. You promise abundance as we put You and Your kingdom first. It may come in a different form than we expect or from an unexpected source but we can trust You to be there for us through anything and everything. Amen
Let’s be thankful today for God being with us and helping us face whatever we face. That certainly brings stability and peace, doesn’t it?
