Special occasions such as Christmas and Easter often present huge challenges to our sobriety today. Our current situations may be less-than-perfect because of dysfunctional relationships connected to past times of gathering and celebrating. The gathering of our loved ones may include triggering behaviours and people that threaten our sobriety. How can we find serenity and even joy during these holiday seasons, whether we can gather with loved ones or not?
