This foolish plan of God is wiser than the wisest of human plans, and God’s weakness is stronger than the greatest of human strength. 1 Corinthians 1:25 (NLT)

I’m a list maker and a planner. As a school teacher I made careful plans for the lessons I would teach. There were unit plans that covered several weeks of material that I knew the students needed to master. Each week on Thursday evening I’d write up plans for the next week of activities and assignments based on those unit plans. As we went through the next week, I still had to adjust those plans from day to day based on what happened in the classroom. I had to keep many things in mind so my students received a proper education that prepared them for the next grade and for life in general.
In our daily living, it’s good to have a plan that addresses all the details, but does so according to certain priorities. That’s why we need to always keep in mind God’s purposes and plans. We need to speak to God often so we can hear from Him any adjustments that need to be made as we go along. God knows us – both our strengths and our frailties. God knows what we are able to manage on a daily basis. He works with us, communicating clearly what today’s priorities are, according to His plan. As we adjust our daily activities according to God’s priorities, we will achieve great success in our daily living.

Commit to the Lord everything you do. Then your plans will succeed. Proverbs 16:3 NIRV
A man may have many plans in his heart. But the Lord’s purpose wins out in the end. Proverbs 19:21 NIRV
No human wisdom or understanding or plan can stand against the LORD. Proverbs 21:30 (NLT)
