For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. (2 Chronicles 16:9 NKJV)
When we acknowledge that God is willing to show Himself strong on our behalf, then it is time to lay down our own self-willed ways and let Him lead us along the path He has chosen for us. It is time to take inventory of our life and determine the changes we want to see and the decisions we need to make to get us to where we want to be. What has God already said in the Scriptures that I can act on? Have I resolved that my self-will is surrendered to God and asked for His will to be done in my life? Am I prepared to be patient while working through a variety of circumstances, allowing God to show me a way forward? When looking for a solution to a seemingly impossible situation, have I prayed and listened to God’s promptings in my spirit to guide me in what I might do? Am I willing to reach out and ask someone for direction on what I believe God is saying to me? Is my attitude submissive to God and to the sound advice of another who seeks to guide me?

For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory. The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Do not be like a senseless horse or mule that needs a bit and bridle to keep it under control.” Many sorrows come to the wicked, but unfailing love surrounds those who trust the Lord. (Psalm 32:7-10 NLT)
If we proceed with what God tells us to do, no matter how incredible it might seem, we will experience the joy of seeing God work in ways we would never have thought possible. God is always with us. That is a fact. We don’t have to face any difficulty alone. That is a fact. Together with God any difficulty can be worked out and overcome. That is a fact. The question for us is, will we live in a way that gives God an opportunity to demonstrate the facts?

Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. Remember, O Lord, your compassion and unfailing love, which you have shown from long ages past. Do not remember the rebellious sins of my youth. Remember me in the light of your unfailing love, for you are merciful, O Lord. (Psalm 25:4-7 NLT)
