HOLDING FAST TO THE ROCK

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. (Romans 8:28 NLT)

If we are dissatisfied with our lives today, it is not God who is depriving us of contentment. We need to take inventory of how we spend our time. We need to check our thought patterns and stop dwelling on the unpleasant things that tie us to the past. We need to start looking forward to the goodness that lies ahead, picturing a fulfilling future with God in it. We need to intentionally look at how God is directing our path and then set goals for ourselves with the expectation that, as we make our plans, God will provide all that we require to fulfill His purposes. God has promised to meet all our needs. He will do for us what we cannot do for ourselves. He will also help us do those things that we can do.
For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. (Philippians 2:13-15 NLT)

With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith. We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.(2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 NIV)
Today, let’s make up our mind to hold fast to the word of God which is a solid rock to build our life on?
