God has a plan for our life. The enemy has a plan for our life. We need to be ready for both. We need to be wise enough to know which one to battle and which one to embrace.
Oh, the joys of those who trust the Lord, who have no confidence in the proud or in those who worship idols …Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them. (Psalm 40:4-6 NLT)

Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed. The Lord has made everything for his own purposes, even the wicked for a day of disaster. (Proverbs 16:3-4 NLT)

God’s voice always stills us, reassures us, comforts and encourages us. Even when God is challenging us he’s never condemning but clearly convicts us and calls us to turn around and follow a better plan than the one we had in mind. On the other hand, the voice of the evil one often rushes us and leaves us feeling panicked and pressured. Confusion and fear are signs of the voice of the evil one. Worries, discouragement, accusation and the like are sounds to reject rather than follow.
Let’s take time and make space to hear God’s voice and seek God’s guidance today.
