Facing trouble without God, is one of the quickest routes to discouragement and relapse. However, if we determine to have faith in God’s protection, we don’t need to despair.
God says: Call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory. For he will conceal me there when troubles come; he will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock. (Psalm 50:15, Psalm 27:5 NLT)

When we find ourselves in trouble, God reminds us that:
1) He cares;
2) Nothing can separate us from His love;
3) When we call on Him, He is ready to help us.
4) God will use our current trouble for good in our lives as we turn to, and rely on Him.
2) Nothing can separate us from His love;

4) God will use our current trouble for good in our lives as we turn to, and rely on Him.

Reacting to trouble is sometimes challenging because, in difficult moments our default position is worry, panic, anger, and complaining. Thankfully, with the power of God's Spirit within us, we can learn to act and react to trouble in new life-giving ways. We can: 1) Call out to God for help; 2) Turn our worries and problems over to God; 3) Be patient, prayerful and confident; 4) Keep ourselves free from resentment towards anyone who may have harmed us.
How pleasant life becomes for those who rely on, and seek God in times of trouble.
Prayer: Gracious God, Help us to remember that whatever circumstances come our way, we do not have to face them alone. You have promised never to leave us nor forsake us. Amen
