God's Will Revealed

Prayer to our gracious God and daily meditation on His word are positive practices that will set the foundation for the rebuilding of our lives. As we take time out each day to be with God, we don’t just find out facts about Him, but we get to know His character and His ways. As we draw closer to God, we discover that we have a loving friend who knew us before we were born, knows all about us, and cares deeply for us.
There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother. (Proverbs 18:24 NLT) God created us with a deep longing for intimate personal sharing and understanding, trusting and being trusted. God wants us first to fulfill these desires through relationship with Him. In our relationship with others we may sometimes feel close to them and at other times disconnected and lonely. God desires that we speak heart to heart with Him about these things that really matter.
The LORD confides in those who fear Him; He makes His covenant known to them. (Psalm 25:14 NIV)
But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. (Jude 20-21 NIV)
Improving our conscious contact with God will strengthen our faith as we seek His will in all our ways.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your unfailing love for me. I ask for strength to live as a person who honours You in all my ways. Draw me closer to You that I might dwell on those things that are close to Your heart. Amen
