Know Truth Live Free

When we decided to give our will and life over to the care of God, many of us were unsure of our identity and, if we are honest, are still uncertain of who we are right now, and certainly about who we will become. We have lived so long in an unmanageable lifestyle that we find it hard to believe that we can fully live free from our dependency. In our sober state, we know what we believe about ourselves and that is often either overrated or understated.
Jesus told the people who had faith in him, “If you keep on obeying what I have said, you truly are my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8 31-32 ESV)

I will go to my father and say to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against God in heaven and against you. I am no longer good enough to be called your son. Treat me like one of your workers.’ (Luke 15:18-19 CEV)

That's why we have this Scripture text: No one's ever seen or heard anything like this, Never so much as imagined anything quite like it –What God has arranged for those who love him. (1 Corinthians 2:9 MSG)
Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for loving me and welcoming me into Your family. I am grateful that, through Jesus’ sacrifice, I truly am proclaimed a child of God. Amen
