Meditations on "Relationship"

God created us to be in relationship with Him and with each other.

We will celebrate Mothers’ Day this coming Sunday.

Many people who choose for life with God in recovery think they can live any way they want as long as they attend meetings, complete an honest set of steps, pray on occasion, and don’t pick up.

The choices we make affect not only our own life but the lives of our loved ones as well.

One of the hardest things for broken people to do is to continue to receive the love of God until we are filled and healed.

Are we willing to allow God to heal and transform every dark area of our being that is currently occupied by secrets?

Many of us, when we were active in addiction, took risks which were unhealthy and some of us continue to live with the consequences of our actions.

A famous philosopher (Aristotle) once said, “Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.

In addiction we engaged in all kinds of risky behaviour.

Do I truly want a life of intimacy with God in recovery?

Through all previous generations even to the generation alive today, people have lived in an environment where good and evil are muddled.

The choices we make today matter to God. God created women and men in His own image and brought them together in a loving relationship with Himself and with each other.
