S The twelfth promise of AA reads: “We will suddenly realize that God is doing for us what we could not do for ourselves.

Due to the oppression of our addictive lifestyle, many of us made a move towards recovery only to struggle and relapse.

Does it really pay to do what’s right? Up to now our practice has been to do whatever worked in the moment to get what we wanted.

Jesus tells us that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

At one time or another all of us have surrendered to peer pressure.

This life we have been given, this new season that is before us, begins with each new day.

When we think of God, how do we imagine Him to be? Do we see Him as a judge ready to pass sentence on us when we do wrong, or do we see Him as the ever-loving God who has compassion on us and desires to care for us?

God wants us to “get it right.” If we will pay attention and obey what we learn from God’s Word, God’s Spirit will lead us on the right path every time.
